Bestway Foundation was honoured with the Social Responsibility Award 2024 in recognition of its continued support to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital and Research Centre over the past year.
Staying true to its commitment towards local communities, Bestway actively contributes to their socio-economic uplift through initiatives that expand access to healthcare and education, foster urban development, promote environmental conservation, and create employment opportunities.
The awards ceremony brought together leading local and multinational companies in Pakistan, all of whom are playing a vital role in advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) across the country.
Ranked among Pakistan’s top ten CSR spenders, Bestway channels its philanthropic efforts through its charitable arm, the Bestway Foundation. Over the years, the Foundation has supported numerous social causes, with education remaining a key focus.
Alongside extending financial assistance to leading educational and healthcare institutions nationwide, the Foundation operates five schools in Chakwal, Kallar Kahar, Mianwali, Hattar and Farooqia, as well as a Girls’ College in Gujar Khan, all providing quality education free of charge.
In 2023, the inauguration of two modern school buildings at Hattar and Farooqia marked major milestones, with another school building planned in Mianwali.
Complementing these efforts, Bestway also runs free medical centres at each of its production sites, providing essential healthcare services to more than 60,000 patients from surrounding communities each year.
