ISLAMABAD: Once again, Bestway Cement has been recognized for its significant contributions to sustainable development, securing two prestigious awards at the esteemed 18th Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2026.
Bestway clinched highly coveted awards across two categories, including CSR Round-o-Clock and Education & Scholarships. These accolades underscore the company's commitment to innovative corporate initiatives that form part of a holistic sustainable strategy aimed at tackling pressing environmental and social challenges.
The awards ceremony drew participation from leading local and multinational firms in Pakistan, all of whom are actively engaged in advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts across the nation.
For more than three decades, as one of Pakistan’s top CSR spenders, Bestway has remained a strong advocate of accessible education, beginning with the establishment of the Bestway Foundation UK Endowment Fund in 1981. Since then, Bestway has been unwavering supporter of several financial aid initiatives, empowering talented students from major universities across Pakistan to access world-class education.
Bestway acknowledges its role and responsibility towards local communities, actively contributing to their socio-economic development. This commitment is evident in initiatives aimed at enhancing access to healthcare and education, participating in urban development and environmental conservation programs, and raising employment opportunities.
In addition to providing substantial financial support to leading educational and healthcare institutions nationwide, the Foundation operates five schools in Chakwal, Kallar Kahar, Hattar, Farooqia and Mianwali, along with a girls’ college in Gujar Khan, offering quality education free of charge.
