Reaffirming their commitment to education, Bestway Group and UBL have made a generous contribution of PKR.550 million to Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), celebrated at a cheque handover ceremony—marking yet another milestone in a partnership built on shared values and deep trust.
The ceremony was graced by Chairman Bestway Group, Lord Zameer Choudrey CBE SI Pk, Managing Director Bestway Wholesale and Trustee Bestway Foundation UK, Mr. Dawood Pervez; Managing Director, Bestway Cement Limited and Trustee Bestway Foundation Pakistan, Mr. Irfan A. Sheikh and President & CEO UBL, Mr. Muhammad Jawaid Iqbal.
Amongst other senior leadership from LUMS included Founding Pro-Chancellor, Syed Babar Ali; Pro Chancellor, Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood and Chair, Board of Trustees Dr. Parvez Hassan.
For more than three decades, Bestway has remained a strong advocate of accessible education, beginning with the establishment of the Bestway Foundation UK Endowment Fund in 1981. Since then, both Bestway and UBL have been unwavering supporters of the LUMS National Outreach Programme (NOP) and financial aid initiatives, empowering talented students from across Pakistan to access world-class education.
This latest contribution is a testament to their shared belief in the power of education to transform lives and drive national progress.
